Becoming a Member:
Application Process

Roundhouse Co-op is a non-profit, member-run community, and as such, we manage our own application process and waitlist. We seek members who are not only looking for an affordable, stable home but are also eager to participate actively in the governance and community life of the co-op.

How to Apply

  • Waiting List: Due to high demand, wait times can be significant, especially for specific unit sizes. We encourage persistence and patience.
  • Apply Directly to Us: Applications for vacancies and to join the waitlist must be made directly to the Roundhouse Co-op Membership Committee. We do not use a centralized housing registry for our waitlist.
  • Get the Application: Please contact the co-op office directly by email, phone, or an online form to inquire about the current status of our waitlist and to request an application package.

  • Roundhouse Renovation Project – Progress Update

    February 18, 2026

    Overall Project Progress

Work continues throughout the building, with multiple work streams underway at the same time. Most installations are progressing smoothly. A limited number of units remain on hold due to access or preparation requirements.

    Bathroom Fan Installation

    • Bathroom fans installed to date: 134 units
    • Most installations are completed within one day, with a temporary ceiling cover installed
    • Archway has begun scheduling finishing work in the bathrooms (boarding, mudding, and painting)

Boarding, Mudding and Painting in the Units

At the same time that bathroom work is being completed, Archway will also finish any remaining boarding, mudding, and painting in other areas of the unit where this work was previously left incomplete.

Reprogramming and Commissioning of the Fan Coil Units

Archway is actively carrying out the reprogramming and commissioning of fan coil units in members’ units where the related installation work has been completed. This process typically takes up to 30 minutes per unit and is expected to resolve the majority of reported issues.

    Shaft Work (Between Stacks 012 & 013)

    • Vent removal, plumbing, insulation, electrical, and mechanical wiring complete
    • Shaft closure in progress, floor by floor
    • New vent installation to follow

    Mechanical Room

    • Upgrade work is ongoing
    • New hot water tanks have been installed and are under monitoring EV Charger Conduit and Junction Boxes Installation (Parking Area)
    • Majority of work completed (total 36 stalls)
    • Limited additional work may be required in some individual parking stall Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.

    Important Reminders

    Access to the unit

When proper notice of entry has been provided:

    • Contractors are authorized to enter even if the member is not present
    • Entry may not be denied for required work under the Occupancy Agreement
    • If a member has a valid reason (e.g., illness), they should contact Members’ Liaison or Archway’s Foreman as early as possible to request rescheduling

Deficiencies The fastest and most efficient way to address any deficiencies or issues is to report them directly to the Members’ Liaison or Archway’s foreman. Prompt reporting helps ensure timely review and resolution.
